minikyu is an open-source desktop application. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build software.

What we collect

Nothing. minikyu does not collect analytics, telemetry, usage data, or personal information of any kind.

Network connections

minikyu connects to:

  • RSS/Atom feed URLs you subscribe to
  • Translation provider APIs you configure (e.g. DeepL, OpenAI)
  • Podcast media servers for playback
  • GitHub for update checks

All connections are initiated by you. No data is sent to minikyu servers — there are none.

Local data

All your data — feeds, articles, settings, API keys — is stored locally on your device. If you use Miniflux sync, data is sent only to the Miniflux server you configure.
